Hillensberg Trust Bursary Application guidelines

Who is eligible?

This is an invite-based bursary, based on student’s academic performance and qualification.

   -Invited students will be rated according to academic performance.

  -Invitations doesn’t guarantee that the bursary will be awarded.

• South African citizens
• UNISA undergraduate and postgraduate (NQF level 6 to 8) students who’ve attained an average of at least 60% on their prior academic year of study
• Students who are temporarily registered and registered (by 31 January 2024)
• Financially needy and academically deserving students - "missing middle" category
• Only Students registered for the following qualifications are invited:
  • Medicine
  • Technology
  • Visual arts
  • Music and the faculty of Health Science

What does the bursary cover?

• Tuition fees
• prescribed textbooks
• Transport allowance
• Any related study costs and laptop computer (only applicable to 1^st time bursary recipients)
