Ramushwana CA(SA) is a lecturer in the Department of Financial Governance of the College of Accounting Sciences (CAS). She was on a contract appointment and has now been permanently appointed as of 1 October 2020. Ramushwana wrote recently on the SAICA website of her momentous career change from radiographer to chartered accountant.
She says that she researched classes that could familiarise her with basic accounting principles and found them at Unisa’s Sunnyside Campus. "That is where I first grasped basic accounting concepts and I have never looked back."
