Lays of lockdown

Unisa College of Human Sciences staff have been creative during the South African lockdown. Dr Christopher Jeffery from the Department of Art and Music created an entire song, entitled Lays of Lockdown, by using everyday household items.

He recorded the song with a cellphone in a makeshift sound booth of couch cushions. "I used no conventional instruments at all, and all the software utilised is downloadable for free."

You can listen to the song here if you have access to Google Drive.

Jeffery also recorded a video to show the process he used in making the song.
